This series of coloured pencil drawings explores historic rooms and antique furniture, and the stories they quietly hold. Building up colour slowly in layers, I focus on the worn textures, rich patterns and soft light that give old spaces their character and sense of age.

I’m interested in how objects and interiors carry traces of the people who once lived among them. Like the stories and folklore that run through my wider practice, these spaces feel full of memory, a little haunting, and alive with lives that are no longer there but have not quite disappeared
